ballet
Caitlin has started doing ballet class. Her class is on Saturday mornings and there are at least 20 kids in the class. She always wants to go but the last couple of times she has been crying in there. She will start in a couple of weeks to go on a different day w/ a lot fewer kids so hopefully she will do better. They all look so cute in there little outfits.
randomness
I woke up to find these owls in my front yard that a very sneaky neighbor who is also on PTO thought I deserved. They are very cute and will make a nice addition to the front yard until the next person gets them

McD's
dentist time
I took the boys to the dentist for their cleaning and check-up. Cameron, of course, has been several times so he was trying to tell Cody all about it and to not be scared and the best part is getting a new toothbrush and picking a toy out of the treasure box. Well, poor Cameron may have to get 2 of his bottom teeth pulled because the new ones are coming through but his baby teeth aren't loose yet. He wasn't very happy camper.
Cody was a champ, he did so great. The hygenist kept saying what a good job he did and she was able to do more than she expected at a first visit. He didn't even mind the "duck" mouth which I always hated when I was little.

Cameron passed kinder!!!
Kindergarten is over and summer vacation is here!!!Camerons teacher has been out sick for most of the end weeks of school due to cancer. She did come in to give their kids their promotion to 1st grade. The kids were so excited to see her, she is such a wonderful teacher. I hope that she will be able to recover over the summer and be back this fall.
Camerons last week of school was a busy one and I brought Caitlin and Cody with me every day to help out in the class. I planned the end of school party where I showed a video of the kids throughout the year, Wednesday was their water party outside, and Thursday and Friday we went in to help clean up the room for her. Caitlin and Cody should be ready for school when it is time for them to go.
Congratulations Cameron, You are such a smart and good boy. We are so proud of you. We love you!!!!
bowling
Our friends suggested we go bowling last night. We had so much fun, the kids all did great. We were there until 10 and no meltdowns, I was impressed. Our friend Christi wanted to place a bet so we bet dinner on the losing couple. Well, Kris and I were the losing couple. In all fairness, I had a sore back and he had a hurt shoulder. Actually, we probably still would have lost regardless but we had so much fun!!! Caitlin loved when the disco lights came on and the music. She said "I'm a rockstar"

garden time
There is a place at a nearby park called Victory Gardens. You are able to have one of the spots to plant your own garden. I thought it would be a fun thing to do with the kids. Well, any of you who know me know that I can't even keep the hardiest of plants alive. My parents were out here for a couple of weeks so I had them help us get started. We planted carrots, beans, peppers, green onions and snow peas. To my surprise everything was growing really great but now all the rodents and birds come in and eat all of the seeds and anything that has just popped up.

all in a days work
I know that I may have posted about Codys love for puzzles before but I think it may be somewhat obsessive. He did all 5 of these 100 piece puzzles in a day. Sometimes if he is playing outside he will run in the house to put a few pieces in or do an entire puzzle. It is amazing but at least he's not watching TV all day right?
what I love about SPS
One of the things that I love about the school in Sahuarita is that they sometimes do these "Lighted Schoolhouse" events. Sometimes it is a movie in the gym and this time they did an icecream social and v-day card making. They are always a family thing so it is fun to see different parts of the school where your kids go during the day and also meet some of their friends and families that you may not otherwise get to meet. These cards are a surprise for their daddy so SSHHH;don't tell.
