Enjoying our new home

Sorry but I was trying to upload some pics last night but my computer was not cooperating so hopefully I can get them posted soon. We have been in our new home now for about 3 weeks. We absolutely love it down here. I keep telling people that I will have to hook Cameron up to an IV because he doesn't want to come in to eat and his solution for when the sun goes down is a flashlight. He has made so many friends down here. He learned how to ride his bike with no training wheels 2 days after we moved in and he his now into tricks on his bike. We can ride our bikes to a few parks so that is a lot of fun. There was an opening fishing day down at the lake in the community and I took the kids to that. No fish but we did have fun! We are looking forward to the many upcoming activities this summer. Kris loves his commute to work which was our only concern with moving out of Tucson but it only takes him 35 minutes(not to bad). My mom was here for 2 weeks to help with projects-mostly painting. We did get a lot done but still lots to do.

safety boy

As we were heading out the other day Cameron decided that daddy is a crazy driver and needs some extra protection in the car. I do believe he was wearing something on his head also but can't remember what. He always keeps us laughing!!!
We went down and had lunch with Kris mom at our favorite mexican restaurant in GV. Joan loves hats and I had to get a picture of Caitlin and her grandma showing off their style. The boys love the fountain in front of the restaurant. I gave them both some change to throw in after lunch. Of course, neither one of them wanted to give up the money-I guess they've figured the money is better off in their pocket than in a pool of water.

soccer party

Cameron had an exhausting season with soccer. The coach who coaches another older team threw a party for all of the kids at pizza hut after their last game. He was so nice and brought 2 huge cakes for the teams. I saw that Cody wasn't eating his (very unusual) so I knew it was time to pack up and head home. Unfortunately, I wasn't fast enough and Cody threw up all over the floor. Luckily, we were sitting towards the back and nobody knew. We cleaned it up and headed out. A few days later we were at a park and I was on the other side so that I could be close to Caitlin but still keep the boys in view. I had turned my head for a second and when I looked back Cody had his shorts and underwear off. I ran so fast over to him and of course he thinks its funny to watch me chasing him with his clothes. When I finally managed to get him dressed and ask him why he took his clothes off he gave me an obvious reason "because their was sand in my shorts" I guess, who likes to wear sandy pants? Luckily the other moms thought it was funny-I only wish I had taken a picture to put in safe keeping to show to him someday.

Tohono Chul Park

After being cooped up in the house with Caitlin having an extremely high temp for a week we were finally able to get out and enjoy a nice day. I took the kids to Tohono Chul to play outside. They were so excited to get out of the house. As was I!!!

up to date

I finally took a few minutes to add a few pics. I try to stay on top of things but it has been hard with school and house hunting. The kids are doing great and excited to move. I think that we have finally seen the end of the illnesses for awhile.

peekaboo

Caitlin was hiding behind the curtain and of course I couldn't find her even with those red socks sticking out!!!

soccer

season 2 for Cameron and they are the tornados this time. He is still loving it!!!

hands up!!!

Naughty spot

Caitlin had her official time out and as you can see she is not very happy about it. She has had several since then though, aaaggghhh.

day at the zoo

We had a fun day at the zoo this morning. We left just in time as it started to rain. Both Caitlin and Cody fell asleep in the car on the way home. We had fun spending time with our friend Emma who we don't get to see much of since she is in Kindergarten this year.
